About Me
My life has been shaped by a passion for exploration, growth, and redefining what’s possible. After years of professional experience across industries such as technology, engineering, and manufacturing —including serving in senior executive roles. My journey has taken me across the globe, with enriching experiences as an expat in Singapore also working in Taiwan, Thailand, and South Africa, further fueling my appreciation for diverse cultures and perspectives. I’ve embraced opportunities to step back and live life on my own terms
In 2008, my wife and I embarked on our first transformative sabbatical. We purchased a yacht in the Caribbean and sailed across the Pacific, immersing ourselves in the beauty and challenges of life at sea before returning to Australia. In 2016, we set sail once more, exploring the Mediterranean, crossing the Atlantic, and experiencing the Caribbean and the east coast of the USA. These journeys were not just about travel but about connection, adventure, and embracing the freedom to chart our own course. I didn’t know it at the time, but we were living a FIRE (Financially Independent Retire Early) type lifestyle. A movement that I’ve only recently discovered.
Now based in Brisbane, I continue to balance my love for global exploration with plans to expand our lifestyle. Our friend’s yachts are our cherished gateway to adventures, and we’re looking forward to establishing a summer home in Italy. My experiences have reinforced my belief in living boldly and finding joy in every chapter of life.
